In Year 10 Environmental Science students explore issues related to the Earth and sustainability. They learn about theoretical and practical aspects related to Environmental Science and investigate what is needed to take care of our planet.

Content/Skills

Areas of study include: Global systems, including the carbon cycle, interactions involving the atmosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere and more.

 

 

Selection advice

These topics would be of interest and helpful in a range of future careers.  Students need to study a minimum of one Science subject in Year 10.
