Why are astronauts weightless in space? Why do people appear to have short, stocky legs in water? In Year 10 Physics students build on the study of Physics introduced in Years 7 to 9. They investigate the theoretical and practical aspects of topics that are related to their lives.
Content/Skills
Areas of study include: forces, kinematics, electricity and more.
Skills and ideas targeted will include terminology, practical skills, empirical experiments, ethical issues and undertaking projects and research.
Selection advice
These topics would be of interest and helpful in a range of future careers. Students need to study a minimum of one Science subject in Year 10.
